Palm’s days are numbered

Read today: some Palm developers have stopped developing new applications and are now giving away old applications for free. This is a clear sign that the end of the Palm platform is near.

No surprise: Palm stopped innovating. Their software and hardware became old and dated. At the same time, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, and the iPhone created new models with better email, faster web access, great multimedia and sleek hardware.

Palm created the market for PDAs. Later, they created the market for smartphones. But they fell behind and got beat by better products.

Innovate or die.
